The actual schedule will be printed using only the necessary information for the employees
- information such as
wages, payroll, hourly/salary, etc. will not print on the employee's printout.
Schedule-Ease will print out list of employees, including almost any type of information
you wish. You may print
individual employees, several different ones, all in one department, or all employees together. You may also pick
which information you wish to print, such as address, wage, social security #, etc.
To see a different aspect of your scheduling effectiveness, you also may view and print
out any of seven different
graphs showing your department's actual employee coverage.
To start using Schedule-Ease, you will be asked to input your department names, what shifts
you run and their
names and hours, and the number of employees required for each shift/department. Then you enter the total payroll
dollars for each department.
After this, you will enter the name, address, social security number, etc., of each employee,
along with their
available work hours, department, minimum and maximum hours per day/week, rate of pay, maximum days per
week/consecutive days, seniority or skill level, whether they are full or part time, hourly/salaried/commision,
etc.
Using this and other information, Schedule-Ease will create a weekly schedule for you, in
seconds. You may then
post this schedule, or you can make manual changes with the click of the mouse. Schedule-Ease makes full use of
the Windows environment - virtually everything you do after entering the initial employee information is done with
the mouse. Click buttons and drop-down menus/lists make everything quick and easy.
Manual changes are instantly reflected in the rest of the schedule, enabling you to fine
tune your schedule to the
maximum benefit. Budgeted and actual payroll dollars are shown at the top of the screen, as well as the required
and scheduled employees per shift/day.
The main schedule screen also shows all pertinent information for each employee, such as
rate of pay, full/part
time, hourly or salary, etc.
No longer will you spend hours each week agonizing over your employee schedule, only to
find out that nobody was
scheduled during the second shift on Tuesday, or that Mr. Smith was working overtime on Saturday when Mr.
Jones could have worked instead, saving payroll dollars.
Schedule-Ease schedules precisely the number of employees needed for each day and shift.
Schedule-Ease can schedule employees for "swing shifts" and partial shifts.
In retail situations, where 7-day operations are the norm, Schedule-Ease will schedule randomly,
so that the same
people do not work the same hours or days each week. This can be easily overridden manually. Also, full-time
employees are scheduled first, then part-time employees. Part-time employees are scheduled according to their
available hours per week.
Schedule-Ease will easily account for temporary situations, such as vacations, part-time
college students working
extra hours, etc. using the "temporary availability" option. This makes it extremely easy to schedule
employees
different from their regular hours, without changing their permanent information. Schedule-Ease automatically
goes back to their regular hours the following week.
Employee defaults can be set up to make inputting of new employees a breeze.
Finished schedules are printed without information regarding payroll, wages, etc. Only information
important to the
employees' actual schedule is printed. The Weekly Report contains the monetary and other information.
